Heyo, I'm Sugar! I'm a 25 y/o Humanities student from the Netherlands. I've always wanted to teach myself a bit of coding, and now I've finally decided to bite!
This website, eloquently named the "Wibsite" by yours truly, will be my first attempt. My intention is to fill this site with general stuff I like, and to provide a space for my rambles that are too big and/or OOC for my normal social media. I really like to be creative, but I've always had some issues with putting my thoughts into practice. I hope this site will be a bit of a help with that! Right now I don't have a clear idea for this site besides the basics, but I do intend to keep working on it regularly. All in all, I hope you enjoy!
about the site
this site is/was/has been coded using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. there are plenty of tutorials online, but i've mainly been using W3Schools. i edit in VScode.
the site design is mostly based on nostalgic self-indulgence and the color beige. inspirations include sites and programs i used to frequent as a young child in the 2000s and as an adolescent in the early 2010s: a.o. MSN Messenger, Habbo Hotel, Hyves, DeviantArt, GirlsGoGames and Tumblr.
